We had a meeting in the mornin' And the boss said, I was no good Jelly doughnuts for breakfast Glared at me, so I understood We had a meeting during lunch And the boss said, we had to do better Ham sandwiches on white bread Boss got mustard, all over his sweater We had a meeting in the afternoon And the boss said, he was going home Keep on typing on those keys, boys Let your fingers roam So I'll keep on typing so I'll get paid I'll keep on typing 'til my dyin' day

"The legendary BTO: vanguard of the typewritten revolution, rhythm stylists, sound chefs. In Workstation to Workstation, they proffer a new cafeteria tray of business-flavored earworms.

Jump-start your day by 'Unprisoning Your Think R.H.I.N.O.' This concoction blends bottom notes of jungle drum with top notes of chopstick and castanet—skipping a heartbeat now and then, but
marching on toward the triumphant liberation of your inner nose-horn / noise-horn.

Fortified for corporate indignities, you’re ready for 'At the Staff Meeting,' a keen dissection of ritualized moments of toadying and revulsion.

'Malört' may start off with well-behaved chimes, but brace your eardrums for an assault of Mongolian death metal / banshee belch / undrinkable Chicago liquor. You have been warned.

No sooner does 'Mailguy' deliver its nano-leitmotif for the bowtied Guy with the Mail than 'Butterfly Bit' tosses a Geiger counter with a washboard and a crisp apple. There’s just enough percussive umami to make your mouth water and teeth chatter as the dinner bell sounds.

The regimented chanty of 'Meeting in the Morning' laments office slavery—“I’ll keep on typing till my dying day”—but also finds those uplifting moments of redemption: “Boss got mustard all
over his sweater.”

To relieve the day’s accumulated tensions, 'Power Space Jam' blends the soft purrs of vibrating escapements with an assortment of auditory aperitifs to entice listeners into a bongo-accoutred love nest, where they’ll cavort with a coterie of silver spoons and ladyfinger firecrackers till they deliquesce into power-spacey nirvana.

All told, the BTO has built us a fresh soundtrack for the daily grind, not excepting brainstorms, catharsis, and quiet desperation. Bon appetit!
